Before reviewing Rouh Argan Carrier Oil, I would like to share a little information on Argan oil.
Argan oil is a plant oil produced
from kernels found inside the fruit of Argan tree (Argania spinosa), which is found in Morocco. A thick peel covers
the fleshy pulp which surrounds a hard–shelled nut. These nuts contain one to
three oil-rich Argan kernels (1).
Argan oil is the best carrier oil for
acne prone skin because it is non-comedogenic in nature (2). It has almost
twice of vitamin E when compared to olive oil and higher in unsaturated fatty
acids such as linoleic acid and oleic acid (3). As, it is rich in antioxidants,
it has anti-aging and anti-inflammatory properties (4). There are many
scientific reports available which give an idea and proved the following
benefits of argon oil are:

According to my knowledge, carrier oil should always be stored in cool and dark

Availibility:
Packaging: Packing was quite impressive. Bubbled wrapped, one amber
glass bottle of Argan oil was enclosed in recyclable cardboard box packed in
ethnic style jute bag. The glass bottle has black colored plastic screw cap
with inbuilt dropper. The packet contained two cards with usage and benefits of
Argan oil along with beautiful quotes printed on them.
My Experience
When I opened the bottle of argon oil, it has slightly
nutty smell and non-viscous in texture. Pure cosmetic Argan oil has golden
yellow color, but this one is colorless.
This perhaps is because it is a more refined product.
I liked this product because of its non-oily
and non-greasy nature. It absorbs quickly on my skin and gives natural glow to
my face. It feels very light and seems nothing has been applied on my face. My
skin is sensitive to acne but it did not cause any breakouts on my face. After 15 days of application, it reduced the existing
acne on my face to great extent giving me a nice feeling. My skin looks hydrated,
moisturized, smooth and firmed than before. It did not cause any irritation
while applying under and around my eyes. It is perfect daily moisturizer for me.
However, I did not notice any noticeable difference in reducing acne scars so
far. I am hopeful it will work in the long run.
I am pleased to use 100% pure and
organic product. The dark brown colored bottle protects the oil from
rancidification from light. It has an inbuilt dropper with a tight screw cap prevents
oxidation of oil from oxygen and moisture. There is no risk of leakage and oil
can be poured easily on palm. Overall, it is a travel friendly bottle. This is
really miraculous oil; it made my skin softer and smoother. I really loved it.
My Way to Use It
I blend it with aleovera gel, sandalwood essential oil and rose
water before applying on my face twice a day (morning and night). Aleovera and rose
water give cooling effect to my skin while the fragrance of sandalwood essential
oil keeps me fresh.
